The Case for Regenerative Cell Therapy

The costs of surgery have skyrocketed. But what if you could avoid those procedures? The answer is: You can! Make use of your body’s own healing potential with regenerative cell therapy, PRP injections and SoftWave therapy. Our effective, minimally invasive and innovative stem cell therapies work for less-active individuals all the way to high-performance athletes.

We use PRP injections and SoftWave therapy to help your body restore itself by recruiting stem cells from one location of the body to aid the area of disease, injury, or inflammation. We accomplish this in a minimally invasive technique done at our clinic within an hour or less. Our medical team makes the entire process comfortable and efficient.

FAQs

What is PRP therapy?

We isolate PRP from a person’s own blood. It is a concentration of one type of cell, known as platelets, which circulate through the blood and are critical for blood clotting. Platelets and the liquid plasma portion of the blood contain many factors that are essential for the cell recruitment, multiplication, and specialization required for healing.

After we obtain a blood sample, we put the blood into a centrifuge, which is a tool used to separate the blood into its many components. We then collect the Platelet Rich Plasma and deliver it to an injured area of bone or soft tissue, such as a tendon or ligament. We administer PRP through an injection, and ultrasound guidance assists with precise placement. PRP provides the synergism of healing and tissue regeneration. The typical repair process is two to four weeks. However, in most cases, patients see a significant decrease in pain and vast improvement within days.

Given a specific injury or pain syndrome, PRP delivers powerful doses of growth factors that accelerate and enhance tissue repair and healing. These growth factors also recruit Stem Cells to the site of injury. When injecting PRP alone, more than one injection may be necessary to maximize results.
